Skin cancer checks at Mercy Family Medical Clinic generally take between 15-30 minutes. An experienced skin cancer doctor will examine your head, face, neck, torso, arms, fingers, legs, feet and toes.
To provide a thorough examination, you will need to undress down to your underwear. A gown or blanket will be provided for your comfort.
We generally do not examine genital areas unless you are concerned about suspicious spots and request that we check them.
